Products with existing sale prices

Hi,

Just tried applying a custom taxonomy 20% discount to a 12,50€ product and it worked: https://snipboard.io/9aYEfq.jpg

Then I set a sale price of 11€ (instead of the regular 12,50€) to that same product and it worked also: https://snipboard.io/fOdVrq.jpg https://snipboard.io/a5rMAk.jpg
11€ – 20% = 8,80€
(nevermind the -20% badge because that’s just custom stuff on the website I used to do the test)

Please try that with just WooCommerce, our plugin and the Storefront theme activated and see if it works. If it does, start by activating your theme, and then each other plugin, one by one, until it stops working and get back to us with your conclusions.

Please try applying a custom taxonomy on products that already have on sale prices like i am describing on my initial post.

Then please let me know if the taxonomy discount is being applied or not.

That’s exactly what has been done as explained in our reply.
1st: raw custom taxonomy discount
2nd: sale prince on the product and the custom taxonomy discount still works and is applied to the sale price

I think you have done it on opposite order.

On my website the sale prices already exist for the products.

And when i create a custom taxonomy discount (for Brands in my case), the sale price is still shown instead of the discounted prices for that taxonomy.

I do not create the taxonomy discount and then add sale price like you are discribing.

It’s the same. It doesn’t matter the order in which the configurations are made.

The amount is correct.

You product costs 129€ and you discounted it to 110€ then on top of that you have a 25% discount: 110€ – 25% (27.50€) = 87.50€

Ohhhh, so the custom taxonomy discount is being applied on top of the sale discount?

I did not know that. I thought the sale price would be ignored and that the custom taxonomy discount would be applied only. Any chance we can do that somehow?
