Products with multiple attribute options

Hi, I wish to add a gift box product to my store that customers can select the contents of. Ideally there will probably be about 5 fields. The first field will be to choose the box colour so only 3 options, but the other 4 fields will probably have 10 options in each. Ideally when they select an option it will show the image in the main product image box. Has anyone done similar and can point me in the right direction of the best way to achieve this please?

I tried doing it manually by adding attributes to the product but it doesn’t really work very well, certainly not with the amount of options I want to have in each field either.
