Products with Serial Numbers

    Hello,
    I am trying to find a solution to sell products with serial numbers which can be chosen by the customers as on of the variables.

    The product will have different sizes (Small, Medium, Large) and a quantity of stock per size. So after choosing the size, the client will be able to chose a serial number from 1 to 1500. However, each serial number can be sold only once, no matter the size. So if serial 1 is sold as small, it can’t be sold again as medium. On top, of that, each size will have a limited stock (example: 5 small, 10 medium…).

    To recap, only 1 piece of each serial number will be available, split into different sizes with each size having a limited number of pieces too. Also the number of available serial numbers is greater than the available stock of sizes, meaning 1500 serial numbers to chose from but only 30 pieces in stock.

    I already asked woocommerce team and it cannot be done without using a plugin.

    So it seems you have the answer. You’ll need to find a plugin or figure out how to code this yourself. Given that this seems a relatively unique requirement, your best bet is probably to hire an experienced Woo developer to write it.

    Hello,
    I was hoping someone has faced a similar issue in the past and could advise a plugin to solve it.
    Anyways, thank you for your feedback and I will try to find a plugin and then if not well a developer I guess.
