Profile edits by another user.

  • Allowing 3 “admin” people with Levels = 9 to edit the profiles of people with Levels < 4. Maybe this has been done before but I have yet to see it. Basicly I need a user to edit another users profile.
    Can anyone point me in the right direction? I don’t mind hacking it together unless one already exist.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated. We are testing wp as a tracking system for persons with developmental disabilities and the 3 staff need to be able to add to a profile which has already been added to the wp_users database.

    Has this not even been considered by anyone? I find that odd.

    Well… I do so, but usually, I go directly in the DB via PHPMyAdmin, so….

    Yeah, that is what I do also but I wanted to enable others in the office to make changes to clients records. I’ve turned it into a CMS of sorts. We’re a non-profit and I had to get something in place in a hurry, since I’ve been using wp forever it was my first choice.

    I’ve made quite a bit of dirty hacks to our wp to suit our needs so I doubt posting my hack in this case with help anyone else. But I will share what I did when I get a chance.
