We have profile fields for shipping addresses. Although when we update the address (either as a user or admin) it looks like it made the changes, but when you view the profile again it’s the old address. Varnish Cache is off on the server, and we cleared the user cache. We are on Version 2.6.10.

This is happening on any profile. Both the profile owner (user) and two separate admins have tried to update the profile fields and can duplicate the issue.

Are you updating the Shipping Address from backend or
frontend’s Account or Profile pages and is this a WooCommerce field?

I am updating it using the Ultimate Member Profile Form from the front end. WooCommerce is not installed on the site. Ultimate Member is the only membership plugin on the website.

There is an issue in 2.6.10 when some fields are not editable
the fields are disabled and not editable at all
but if enabled the field will not be updated for the Users
but an Admin editing the profile can update the Field.

Try to resave the address field with the UM Forms Builder.

Hi @missveronicatv, I’ve tried that twice now. I also tried to add a new field to the form (instagram). The new field is available when I edit the profile but doesn’t appear on the profile page after saving.

The fields are not disabled. I can type in them and edit/add the text that is in them. But after I hit the Update Profile button and then view the profile, none of the changes appear, nor do any of the new fields created in the backend form editor appear. The changes I make to my own profile or any of the other users are not taken. I don’t see any errors in the console log either.

Following up on this. Is there a solution? I am not the only one having the issue. The fields are not disabled. I can edit them. Saving the new profile doesn’t do anything. It still shows the old data. Even adding new fields doesn’t appear on the profile.

    Hi Andrew,

My problem is not solved. I updated the plugin to the newest version today and I still have the same issue.

I can edit my profile. It appears like it saved. I receive an email that I updated my profile.

When I view the profile the profile is not updated. I click the gear to edit the profile and it’s back to what it was.

I’ve added a new field to the profile form and it doesn’t appear on the front end. It’s not saving the data at all.

I have no caching on the website. I have varnish cache turned off.
