The profile name on the header part (indicating that you are a logged-in user) is in black text. It can’t be seen while scrolling up and down the homepage. Can the text color be edited?

    Thanks for the info.

I’ll make use of it as reference once I already have the plugin and will test it out.

My next question is going be regarding things like “queries”, at least from what I understand. There is actually an Elementor Pro widget called “posts” which if you drag and drop it somewhere on the homepage, it’s going to automatically “pull data” from your “posts” (from the WordPress backend) and display it on the homepage without you manually recreating all the info (creating containers, adding images, etc.). Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/16QXRQGkNSD-GXO5YsgW58-K8aiugBsIN/view?usp=sharing

What I’m basically trying to do is create the same effect. But this time, it’s not going to be for “posts”. Rather, it’s going to be for “instructors”. What you see in this screenshot are actually profile cards (located on the homepage) which are NOT dynamic, meaning they are static and were created using elements such as containers, images, text editor, etc. (Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1gu_1OeM5jYULWhvtcnw9ea40vjxkeWEy/view?usp=sharing)

The demo site I imported actually came with a page full of instructors (all displayed in profile cards). My question then is this: How can I “pull data” from the instructors page (where all the instructors are listed) and display “some” of those instructors on the homepage without recreating (copying and pasting) each of their profile cards on the homepage?

I guess this is where things like “queries” or even “dynamic tags” come in but can you describe the process on how to manually go about creating this, specifically in the case of a list of instructors (profile cards) and not blog posts? (Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vKI3P1Sfmt08WE9B5CctzUHJ1DTAGLx6/view?usp=sharing)

    Thank you.

    Hi,

    Thank you for your inquiry.

The instructor page in our theme is static, and making it load dynamically like the “posts” page would require significant customization. However, we do have a shortcode available that can display a list of instructors dynamically.

You can use the following shortcode to show the instructor list on your homepage or any other page:

    [tutor_instructor_list column_per_row="3" filter=on layout="pp-top-left"]

This will allow you to dynamically display the instructor profiles without needing extensive customization.

If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to ask.

    Best regards,

    Hi.

I apologize for there were some things regarding my question which I should have clarified more.

The “instructors” I’m talking about in this case are actually NOT the “instructors” of the courses made within the system of Tutor LMS (which in this case is what the shortcode you gave is going to display automatically on the page). Rather, the “instructors” I’m talking about here are completely separate from the Tutor LMS system and they have their own information as well as provide their own services, similar to what a marketplace of freelance instructors would look like.

I’m actually already aware of the shortcode you gave as I read it somewhere in your documentation. However, what I noticed is that it’s only going to display “instructors” who are the CREATORS of courses made using Tutor LMS which is not something I plan on putting on my site. Instead, what I’m basically trying to do is achieve the same kind of page layout as what the shortcode does BUT for independent instructors who have not created any course using the Tutor LMS system. And this is where that “manual customization” of the instructor page comes in. (Screenshot: https://drive.google.com/file/d/18Ux4W2ryHQwcHIlDTxGmQww5Gwd2soBC/view?usp=sharing)

With that said, I am aware that this will require some kind of customization which is why I mentioned before things like “queries” and “dynamic tags”. I was wondering if you can outline the steps of how to manually create dynamic profile cards on the instructors page (where all the list of independent instructors are located) and set them up in a way that a few of those profile cards get displayed at the homepage (by “pulling data” from the instructors page)?

    I appreciate the help.

    Hi.

I realized that there may be a need for me to install third-party plugins in order to achieve the effect I want with displaying profile cards in a particular way but I was able to figure it out. And you were right when you said it does require significant customization. I understand you are not able to provide assistance when it comes to other products.

I do have a follow-up question about Tutor LMS and it’s regarding the course instructor’s ability to customize their own courses after creating an account. When I tried adding or editing courses as an admin, it did take me to my WordPress backend and I was able to add or edit courses from there. However, my question is if “non-admin” instructors would be able to customize their own courses (create lessons, tests, etc.) without necessarily being taken to a page which looks like the backend of WordPress? What does the course customization page of a “non-admin” instructor look like and is the Pro version of Tutor LMS required?

    Thanks.
