Profile not selected

    I noticed the post that said there was an update and posts written before the update would have this issue. However, I just wrote a new post and I am getting the “profile not selected” error. I have checked the settings and my LinkedIn profile is selected there, however when I edit the post I do not see a profile mentioned in the Wp LinkedIn Auto Publish settings. If I click on “Share Now” the error occurs again.
    Any help would be much appreciated,

    You need to select a profile on the post page and then share the post. This issue has been raised too many times and it’s not an issue. Make sure you have activated the profiles you want to share with in the plugin settings. Select the default profiles you want to share with (optional), and then on the actual post page make sure the desired profiles you want to share for that post are activated/selected. If no profiles are activated then the post isn’t going to be shared with anyone because the plugin doesn’t know what profile to share it with.

    Perhaps if your user interface was a little more intuitive you wouldn’t get so many issues like this.

    For example, when I looked at the settings to make sure I had a profile activated I saw my profile was there, what was not clear is that because the profile text was a grey color it was not activated! Only when I clicked on it was it a little clearer that is had not been activated.

    Same issue in the post settings, why not use a checkbox then it is ABSOLUTELY clear whether the profile is or is not selected. Or use a graphic “X” or check mark. Help your users to succeed.

    Such a pity to annoy a user who really likes the plugin, especially since it was your update that deselected the profile that had been working well.

    I am so sorry that my free plugin that you paid no money for and I spent weeks and weeks on my life on over a few years disappointed you…

    That’s ok, I am glad it’s all good. Thank you also for your donation it is very much appreciated and very generous. I am sorry for being rough on you, I have just been really stressed with my normal work so it is made it frustrating dealing with the support for all my free plugins. Thanks for your understanding.
