    Hello,
I am trying out the free version of UsersWP. When I upload a profile photo (front or back end), the image is always stretched to maximum width beyond what I have cropped, and the photo gets an oval shape. Can this be fixed?

I can’t recreate this on our demos, it could be a conflict with another plugin or your theme’s CSS. Please open a support ticket here and I will ask a developer to follow up.

Thank you for your reply. I do actually still need help, but since I’ve found another plugin for my needs to test, I won’t waste your team’s time by opening a separate support ticket. I will just leave this resolved for now and contact you again if I need help. Thanks.

    Paolo,

I have just started using this plugin and have run across this issue twice. See the weird profile pic here: https://bookstylistnow.com/stylists

Anyway to keep this from happening or is it just user error??

    Hi @gnissley,

I just did a test and it worked fine: https://bookstylistnow.com/stylists. The problem with the picture is its format. Was that uploaded from the backend?

From the front end, the system asks to crop an image into a square, but that image is sideways and in landscape format, which I don’t know how they managed to upload like that.

For what you are building, though, I think you are using the wrong plugin. You are building a business directory, and our other plugin, GeoDirectory, is 100 times more complete for that purpose.

Another note: you should really create your own topics, even if you find one detailing the same problem. This is marked as resolved, and we could have missed it.

    Thanks,
