I have a registration form which works fine. However when I use the form on the front-end to edit profile, I get the error:

Something went wrong while uploading, please contact your site administrator.

Looking at the code this seems to be linked to profile-pic. But there isn’t a profile pic, and profile pics aren’t used anywhere on the site.

How do I avoid this error which is stopping the edit profile form working?

    Thanks

    Stephen

    Hi @llamasteve,

Could you please provide me the URL of both the registration and login form?

Do let me know and I will get back to you accordingly.

    Thanks and Regards!

    Hello,

    The registration URL is:
    https://forestrytool.pefc.co.uk/register/

    Login is:
    https://forestrytool.pefc.co.uk/my-account/

Note that new accounts need approval.

At the moment I have commented out this line in class-ur-form-handler.php:
    ur_add_notice( __( ‘Something went wrong while uploading, please contact your site administrator.’, ‘user-registration’ ), ‘error’ );

This seems to work, but obviously isn’t really a long term solution.

    Thanks

    Stephen

    Hi @llamasteve,

Since you have set it up as Admin Approval after registration, we would not be able to check the issue so I guess, you can contact us via our contact us page here: https://wpeverest.com/contact/ and then someone from the team will get back to you.

You can later share the website related confidential information with us privately and we will proceed further to fix the issue.

    Regards!
