How did you modify the User Profile? With hooks in functions.php of your theme? Or did you simply change info – like your email – in the User Profile?

I changed my email address in the User Profile. Interestingly, the picture I see in this forum is correct, but on my blog it’s the Monster ID (the default icon when no avatar exists).

Ah, that’s called an avatar. Check your profile at gravatar.com

In some cases, it’s cached, so clear your browser cache, too.
