Profile still not translated

    Hi,
    I used this plugin since WP4.5.3 and the latest version of Buddypress.
    I used BuddyPress Multilingual 1.5.3. The first day I installed this plug everything was great including the language tabs on the Profile Fields page. But 2 days later I found the language tabs was disappeared… Then I found the plugin had a new version 1.5.4 and I uploaded it. In the meantime I updated my WPML and WP to the latest version(WPML v3.5.1.1 and WordPress v4.6). Still there are no language tabs on the profile page…

    I found there are so many treads here talking about this problem. Just added this one and hope the great author can fix this ASAP. I know this is a free plugin and great programmers are always busy. This plugin is very useful and it absolutely can have a price. Please think about it:)

    Sorry for late reply – language switcher can be added using widget or footer
    (WPML settings screen).

    We usually test with default theme and switchers appear fine.
    There were issues in the past with language switcher and BPML
    is adjusting links in switcher to point to correct BP screen.

    If you can me tell more which language switcher is missing (what type)?
    Is it footer switcher or e.g. sidebar widget switcher?

    Thank you for the reply.
    What I mean is, I don’t know how to translate the profile field names from WordPress back-end. The profile fields I added are on /wp-admin/users.php?page=bp-profile-setup
    But I cannot find a place to get the field names translated. Is that possible to translate them?

    You should find them under WPML > String Translation
    se strings under ‘Buddypress Multilingual’ textdomain.
    Let me know if it works for you.
