• I have just built my first course on WordPress using LearnDash cloud; I am a big fan because it came with everything I needed to build my course. The problem I had was in the little details – I needed a different login form that was easily customisable, I didn’t want students directed to the not-so-pretty backend of WP when they went on their profiles; I also wanted them to be able to upload profile pictures if they wanted to, ProfilePress helped me achieve all these (and more) easily. I really liked how user-friendly and intuitive it was, I liked that it also came with other useful features I didn’t know I wanted just then such as being able to easily compose and customise emails and schedule when they went out (plus email confirmation); redirections on login and logouts, payment gateways and a membership directory. You get most of these on the ProfilePress free plan but I opted for the paid plan because I wanted access to social login and well as a waiver on the 2% stripe usage fees, I chose the standard plan which is usually $99 per annum but I paid $79 as they were having a sale, I feel this is excellent value for all the features it comes with. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is because subscribing to one of the membership plans didn’t automatically enrol students on the corresponding LearnDash course, this issue was quickly and easily sorted with an email to ProfilePress support (5 stars for customer service), I have also been informed they are working on a better integration with LearnDash. I’d definitely recommend ProfilePress to anyone who’s not a whizz at coding or anyone who just wants those little extras on their LearnDash course.

Update: ProfilePress now has a user-friendly Learndash integration that works beautifully – 5 stars.
