Profiles Disappearing

  • Ok. I had a user complain that he registered on my site. He filled out your form. Awesome! He went back in later and all of his data disappeared. Oh boy.

    So, I went investigating (including some of my other users) and noticed a number of folks with missing profiles. A few of these people I know well. They would NOT have gone in and registered without filling in the blanks. Now, I know I have multiple records disappearing.

    I use Elementor Pro fully updated to the latest version with your shortcodes.

    I, also, use Autoptimize, WP Super Cache and Cloudflare CDN.

    Help!!! Each of my members is super important to me and took me forever to attain. Now I will need to go back to each one with a blank profile but, I will not until I have this problem solved.

  • On the wp Users pages are all your members showing only as UM roles or do they show a dual role from one of the std WP roles and then whatever role you have assigned from UM? If only using UM roles, suggest you assign a std WP role as well. I am thinking that WP roles will be protected more and not disappear. (a hunch not fact)

    Also look at Profile Builder plug is a good role mgr.

    they are all showing up as the Announcer role only which I created in UM.

    trying to keep this very, very, simple.

    also, my theme is wpastra.

    Hi @paaadmin,

    This issue can be due to some conflicts with one of your plugins e.g. Autoptimize or due to cache.
    Please exclude Ultimate member pages from the WP Super cache and create rules in your CloudFlare and see if this issue goes away.
    Try to replicate this issue with a test registration.
