• [EDIT] Yeah, that was a bit harsh and unfair. I really need to walk away for an hour before hitting ‘submit’ sometimes. I am frustrated.

On topic, what makes this poor quality release and lack of support even more frustrating is that when I ran an OpenCart store, there were several Square plugins That Just Worked. Why it seems to be a struggle for this developer is beyond me.

Granted, I could care less about syncing products at this point (gravy, but not essential). All I really want is a Square gateway that is easy to use and works WITHOUT breaking everyone’s store.

  • That seems a bit harsh, and I thought woocommerce and woocommerce square was free… You seem frustrated… I do agree, there are some major issues, especially with the Square plugin, but I’ve managed to work through every issue I have run into with a little patience and a lot of hair pulling. The fact they even offer any level of support for free products is pretty uncommon with free WP plugins. That said, you really do need a very technically minded, I would even say full coding developer(s) to get a WooCommerce with Square store fully operational and maintained. It’s definitely NOT a simple and easy solution but it’s the best free one available for WordPress in my opinion… Just my 2 cents
