    Interesting plugin,
It is a less ergonomics and visually appealing than the premiumGonzales or the Asset Queue Manager, which use the Admin Bar and don’t echo the list in the website (having to scroll down the page to see all assets can be a bit annoying when you are working on a 5000 words page, especially because you have to do that every time) but it does the job.
IMHO, for this plugin to stand out, more rules than the two previous plugin offer, more rules have to be added, especially “queue/enqueue for This post type, for archive…”.
Also, I don’t see how post exception are stored on the database. Is it by ID or by slug ?
Looking at options entry created by the plugin, it is surprising than the home page has 3 dedicated entries. The other plugins mentionned above have one single entry for all settings, which make it easier to edit.

    Good continuation !

Thank you for your comments! I have to remind you that “WP Asset Clean Up” is free and one should take this into consideration when comparing it with other commercial plugins.

I’m planning on releasing a PRO version of this plugin once it gains popularity as overall people are happy with it. Trust me, there was a lot of work and testing to make it work the way it is now. Only an experienced developer would understand this.

Regarding the homepage settings, where did you notice 3 dedicated entries? Can you be more specific about this?

The post exceptions are stored in the database by ID as the slug can be changed and thus would mess everything up ??

    Hi Gabe ??
    Thanks for your precisions !
Your plugin is indeed free, and it is a great thing to bring this kind of functionalities to all WordPress users as it is useful for every WordPress websites.
Note that WP Asset Queue Manager is also free and open source, if you want to take a look, and Gonzales is only 19$ ?? From free plugin or not, inspiration is always good to have (but I’m sure you already have a lot of ideas) ??

It is stored by ID ? That is cool! The other plugins mentioned above store by slug (at least, for the moment), which is not very convenient for multilingual website. One point for your plugin ! ??

Here are options stored by your plugin :

By comparison, here is WP Assets Queue Manager, with one only “serialzed data” entry:

(note that this plugin cannot have rules for particular posts or page)

I trust you that it is not easy. I have moded Gonzales a bit and… it was not that easy ?? I also take a deep look at WP Asset Queue Manager source code and once again, there is plugin easier to mod that these ones ??
Mostly because of the Ajax call in fact.

Asset queue manager is nice but much less functional than Asset clean up which works on the backend and on a per post basis.
