Promising but Ultimately Flawed

  • All in one events Calendar has seen it’s fare share of bugs. Despite this, the plugin actually has a lot of excellent features in functionality. The problem is that you cannot trust the plugin. I’ve had it take down several sites with various updates that seem rushed and riddled with bugs.

    I’ve decided to throw in the towel with this plugin. To fill the void Modern Tribe’s The Events Calendar has performed very well for me.

  • Its really too bad it has these problems. I really like the mouse over displaying the featured image on the widget, and the simple calendar with mouse over image too. But this fear of updating and losing all events is a pain. I haven’t been able to find anything free that compares however. Still looking and testing out other event calendar plugins.

    Thank you so much for the recommendation. I installed Modern Tribe and it looks and works great!
