    I’m running a promotion on my website this weekend and I’ve created 2 different promotional codes. They are identical except for the % off the cart total.
    One promo code provides the visitor with 10% off and free shipping. The other 15% off and free shipping. Credit card payments seem to be going through fine but if trying to checkout with Paypal Express, users receive the Error Code 10413 before they can get to the Paypal login screen. I tried deleting and recreating the code – changing the code itself and tested other variations of the code. Turns out if I change it to 16% (instead of 15%), the user can checkout with any issue.

    Why would the % value have such a negative impact on the promo code?

    Can you give me a break down of all the exact pricing of products on orders that are failing with a 15% discount? I need to see if I can reproduce the problem on my test site.

    Sure. The customer was trying to purchase 2 Bunion Booties (she was trying to purchase 2 Medium Right Bunion Booties but I was able to replicate with 2 X-Small Right Bunion Booties also. You can find them here – https://bunionbootie.com/product/buy-bunion-bootie/

    The coupon code that I used originally I had to change so that it would work (changed it to 16%) because an email campaign went out and is active until Thursday of next week. But another one I created using the same criteria is also doing it. Try testing with promo code fireworksvip. Same discount structure as the one my customers were having trouble with – 15% off and free shipping.

    Also, do you have logging enabled in the plugin? Can you provide the login file so I can see the request that is failing?
