We know that, with the GDPR, we must obtain legally valid consent from end-users to:
Use cookies or other local storage when legally necessary.
Collect, share and use personal data in order to customize ads.
And that, when seeking consent, we must:
Save a proof of consent provided by end-users.
Provide end-users with clear instructions on how to revoke consent.
Where is the proof of consent kept?

    Hi @ludovic1974,

The user choice is saved in cookies under users browser session itself. In the pro version of the plugin, there are consent logs saving options in the site.

Greats! Thank you for your time.
I have one more question: If the user rejects a cookie that isn’t necessary, is the plugin able to prevent that, for example, provide visitors with advertisements and marketing campaigns related to their search on our website or provide information on the metrics of the number of visitors, bounce rate, traffic source… to companies like Google?

    Hi @ludovic1974,

The plugin blocks the cookies and scripts if user rejects it, if the script is added via this plugin itself. Please refer the guide here.
