Proper Adsense setup – standard vs mobile site versions

  • I’m looking for recommendations on the best setup for Adsense ads on my site…..for the standard desktop view, I have 3 ad units (header, one embedded in the middle of the page and the 3rd in the right column.

    My question is in regards to mobile versions of my site….what is the proper setup and what plugins are best to help manage which ads are served on a mobile device or tablet version of a website?

    Can you still have 3 ad units display on a mobile rendering of a site? Should you just use the new “responsive” ad format?

    Any insight would be appreciated.
