Proper GZIP settings …?…

  • Hello,

    I would like to ask you for help, how to proper set up gzip on web page using WP Super Cache?
    Im using Autoptimize that allow enable gzip. I can enable gzip on server and if I understand right WPSC is using gzip too? So is there an “list” of recommended settings?

    Problem is that if I measure page by gtmetrix.com (with server and Autoptimize gzip off). Gzip result is 35%, because some of files are not compressed.
    Best result I got is with server php gzip enabled.
    So is there an recommended settings? Or is it possible to disable WPSC gzip?
