Proper way to use reusable blocks with loops and block based theme
-
Hi,
I have a fresh WordPress 6.2 with a block-based theme (Livro).
On several pages of the site, I’m displaying a design customized loop with its own blocks, colors, fonts…… It’s all designed from WordPress block editor, no coding at all.
I need consistant loop design across various pages of the site: home, categories, search results….
I was thinking of converting the “group” that holds all the blocks to a reusable block. So just below the loop (so excluding the loop) I converted the group holding all the blocks to a reusable blocks and put it under the various loops of the pages where it is needed.
It doesn’t seem to work as intended: the loop data of each page is not passed to the reusable block as intended. So the reusable block doesn’t respect each of its loop data.
What is the proper way to set loop design in a single place, then have it reusable in any kind of loop?
