Property location not saving as expected, cannot search new listings

  • I have 2 issues that are definitely related.

    1 – While testing, I have been adding and deleting locations (state, province, city, etc). When I attempt to add the locations again, it says the taxonomy is already being used, yet I can’t find it to permanently delete it. Tried clearing all caches, even tried string locator but couldn’t find it. Database issue? Where can I find these old locations so I can permanently delete them if I cannot find them in Data Manager? I’m not using a cache plugin yet, btw

    2 – More importantly, when I create a new listing, the location does not save as expected. I see my listing on the my listings page, but I do a property search and it does not appear using the corresponding location parameters. I’ve managed to save 1 that shows up under Brazil, but Nothing is ever saved in the “city” or “state” location parameter, as I can tell from the (0) next to all of the saved cities in the DM. I even tried saving a new listing to an existing city created from the demo, but it will not show in search as expected.

    I am located in rural Brazil, so I need to add locations manually, if that is a clue. I can’t use google auto lookup. So….. I can add listings fine, but any search or map or my_listing function is useless, rendering the plugin unusable.

    I really want to buy the pro version but I need to know that the basic functions will work for me first. I hope it’s just user error and you guys can help, thanks in advance!

    Update: Found out how to edit/delete locations DB from another post here. Resolved most of my issue. Maybe a “tags” link in Estatik menu like wordpress uses?

    Still can’t search by city when use the city=ID in the shortcode, I need to use the Province paramenter.

    Is it possible use the neighborhood tag in the search shortcode? Or any tag for that matter?

    You can see all your locations here https://your-website/wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=es_location
    Please, wait for the next plugin release (we expect it to be within several weeks). It may fix some issues with locations.

    You can not search by tags.

    I’m having exactly the same issue, I can’t search based on city ID even I properly set it and can see it in manual location/address under my listing… hopefully it’ll be working in the next update ??

    e.g.: /search-results/?es=1&city%5B%5D=127&es_category%5B0%5D=3 wont return anything, but if you remove city%5B%5D=127 than it’ll work
