Did you know that you receive free tech support from the ProPhoto crew?
    https://www.prophoto.com/contact/

I see that your site is coming up okay on iPhone right now… though I do not see any ‘mobile sharebar’ content.

This may be due to the fact that ProPhoto creates the mobile layout using the “jQuery Mobile” code libraries which may cause significant problems with some WordPress plugins, so most plugins are not allowed to load javascript on the mobile layout. Unfortunately this may mean that your plugin cannot be used for the mobile layout for now…

For more help, contact tech support at the site mentioned above.

You can disable sharebar-jQuery in the Plugin-Settings.

Hi Steve, thanks, yes Prophoto is currently following up on another issue for me (SSL related) and I think it best they fix one issue at a time in case two engineers start rewriting each others solutions. They are usually very quick to respond but their SSl guy is on holiday I think. Not that I begrudge him some time off.

Somutech: yes I played with the jQuery check box. When I first installed the plugin the “Include jQuery” checkbox was checked. I have just tried unchecking it again and it didn’t seem to change anything.

BTW I have no caching plugins on my site so serving cached pages isnt the issue.

I’m glad to hear you’re receiving help from one of us here already – be sure to bring up this issue with your Tech, too.

And a quick note regarding jQuery: ProPhoto uses the built-in jQuery library provided within the core WordPress system, so if your plugin is also trying to include jQuery separately, this could cause trouble. WordPress plugins will probably work best with other software if they enqueue it correctly, like this mentions:

    https://digwp.com/2009/06/including-jquery-in-wordpress-the-right-way/

I understand ProPhoto enqueues jQuery this way, as should any other plugins – I hope that helps!

That should be fixed with the last update
