pros and cons of offloading files to Google Drive

  • I’m developing my first WP site. I plan to have a large number of pages (no posts), with each page containing a good number of images. Instead of uploading all the images to the media library, would it make sense to upload them to my Google Drive account and link to the images in the pages? What would the pros and cons be?

    I’m using GoDaddy as my web host with these limits: RAM 512 MB, #CPUs 1, I/O 1 MB/s, Files 250000, Entry Processes 100. I appear to max out the RAM, CPU, and I/O from time to time. Would offloading images help, and would it make pages load faster for the visitor?
