I would like to have pictures on my pages and do some image galleries , etc. – But also want to ensure that you can not right-click on the image and then download it . And it must not be possible to print the images out . How do I put the protection of my pictures ?

  • Short answer – you can’t.

Long answer: In order to access your site’s pages, visitors need to download them via their own web browser. If you limit access to images, then you may stop them being displayed at all. Also, there are some web surfers who rely heavily on access to the right-click context menus within their browsers. If you attempt to interfere with this, you will, at best, drive them away from your site and, at worst, be breaking anti-discrimination laws in your own country.

You cant make it, but you can turn of right click. because of most of the visitor will save using their muse right button. Only advance or developer people know that using Browser developer tools also they can save this image.

One of the example plugins: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/no-right-click-images-plugin/

That plugin has not been updated in over two years. It may not work with recent versions of WordPress.

As Esmi said, many people depend on right click to navigate the web. I don’t browse sites that disable right click for that very reason.

You can always disable “disable right click” simply by turning off JavaScript. This is not really a valid alternative.
