Protect URL from download

  • Hi There!

    I need to protect the URL folder so people won’t be able to download the product without the subscribe.

    The URL’s of the products are no protected. The issues I’m having is that the zip folders in there to download are not protected, meaning that if people find the link for the product to download, they can download the product without to pay the subscription.

    For example, if people find this link, they will be able to download the product without subscribe.

    https://www.MYSITE……com/wp-content/uploads/2016/01/YouTube-Marketing-Transcripts.zip

    Is there anyways to protect the URL of the product. If people browse the path URL it will redirect to the membership page and not to the downloadable folder.

    Please let me know for any solution.

    Hi Adri, unfortunately this plugin does not protect the physical URL of a product. This plugin protects the content of a page or post. If you want to protect the physical URL of a download product then you need to use a plugin for that purpose.
