• Hello I have been knighted a webmaster for a Word Press site, the problem is the former webmaster dissapeared, regardless or why or how, the main issue is now I have taken over the site and now some areas need to be edited and deleted. But they are protected. Where can I find these settings? Is there a way to delete pages when they are protected.

If the former webmaster comes around I suppose I can just have him change things, but we think he had droped the site.

Any ideas? Can I rewrite a file indirectly? Word press is new to me.

    Help is much appreciated, Mkwick

Any body out there? Is their a way to hack around this? Is it an idea to maybe redirect the link? Thanks for any help! ??

Can you rephrase your original question and mention what you’re clicking and what admin pages you’re having “protection” issues with?

What level is your user account?

Personally, I haven’t a clue what you’re talking about, but hopefully if you can offer a walk-through to the isssue it’ll “click”.
