• I foumd a solution for the problem I posted earlier: see this link https://www.pipeten.com/support/applications/protecting-wordpress-uploads It’s based on the rewrite mode of web servers and a filter php file which checks, if the download trial comes from a logged-in user or not. For not logged-in users (who maybe have guessed the download link) the download will be refused. This works for all folders and files below the uploads folder (or however you have configured it in your site). So if you organize your File Away folders within uploads and if you activate this proposed method, your files are secured against illegal downloads.
