Proxy not handled

I upgraded from the previous version and got locked out. Could it be that the proxy is not handled right? All settings are propagated okay from the old version, but since there is no proxy tick anymore, I cannot check if this is the problem. I rolled back to Limit Login Attempts, and all works fine again… What to do?
