  • It could mean that the proxy server is showing all incoming traffic as having the same IP. I’ve seen that.

    Also there has been a huge number new spammers appearing and the traffic has really increased lately.

    Yeah I noticed that. However, am I correct in remembering that you have some special instructions or adjustments for sites using proxy servers? Where would I find that?

    That would be in the documentation for your proxy server. There is a setting to pass the original ip in a header. My plugin looks for this header.
