Prune wp_pollsip

Quick question. I don’t have any live polls running at the moment, only a long history of archived polls that people can view. I noticed that the wp_pollsip table holds a mass of voting history, but is this actually needed to maintain the existing polls? Can I prune or even completely clean it without damaging those archived polls?

So far as I can tell, WP-Polls itself never does any even basic maintenance on this table, so it just stores.. and.. stores.. and stores a huge history of voting IP addresses. I can’t see any reason to maintain all of this if I don’t have any active/live polls for people to vote on.
