PSA – Bugged v5.4 working on WP 5.7

  • I accidently updated to v5.4 of contact form 7 and noticed that it started working after I updated my WordPress version to 5.7. Still appears slightly gltitchy, the wheel spins after you press “Send” then all info disappears and it looks as if nothing happened. Then about 5 seconds later it says the message was sent successfully.

    We are using the Storefront theme but in hindsight I don’t believe the update to WP 5.7 fixed the issue. My site is on Cloudflare and my IT guy created a page rule so the contact us page is not cached. I believe this is what fixed the issue.

    I have the same Problem. Evey site with Wordpess 5.7 has this red error:
    SENDER’S MESSAGE FAILED TO SEND

    I have tested. With WordPress 5.62 no Problems. Update 5.7 -> Error.

    Problem with different Provider.
