PTE images not loading

There’s a couple things that you can try:

1. Disable all other plugins. Does the same behavior occur?
2. Try installing the 2.0-alpha version of PTE (here).

Other information that could help me diagnose the problem:

• Does this happen for every image or just certain ones?
• What happens when you just try to edit an image through the wordpress interface (e.g. cropping or rotating the main image)?

This happens for every image, and the WordPress image interface is not the problem.

I tried installing that last night as I saw that listed as a way to get it to work in another thread, but it didn’t change anything – though that may be because I am unfamiliar with manually installing plugins through Filezilla. I also tried that fix with editing lines from another thread to no change.

I thought of it being a problem due to 3.5.1, but was not able to downgrade to 3.5 due to doing something incorrectly, so maybe I’m missing something with the .zip file.

It works in 3.5.1 for me — that shouldn’t be the issue.

Enable debugging (Settings → Post Thumbnail Editor) and then load the page, click the debug tab and get me the logs after the page finishes loading.

* you didn’t say if you tried disabling all other plugins.

* Are you on an apache or windows server?

Disabling all plugins save PTE changed nothing.

How do I check to see whether it’s a Windows/Apache server?

Yeah, it doesn’t look like you installed the latest version of the plugin correctly (it still says 1.0.7). I would delete the whole wp-content/plugins/post-thumbnail-editor directory and then use filezilla to transfer the unzipped 2.0-alpha one…

Hi i am brand new to wordpress so forgive me if i seem an idiot at this…i have wordpress 3.51 i have installed post thumbnail editor and its active, have no idea if its been installed properly or not, when going into the media/library i see a few photos i have placed there….i then hover over one of the pictures and then click the one i want to edit,which is the link which says “Thumbnails” when i do that from that point i can see the internet icon at the top of my firefox browser trying to load the page again eventually it does, wordpress is there, but the screen is white like there is nothing there?? i mean where there was my 2 images, now nothing and i can see the webpage on the browser has finished?? at the moment i dont have any other pligins working , i had this thing called jetpack installed i have no idea whats that for yet but i deactivated it anyway and so thumbnail editor doesnt seem to work for me?? Please help..i can show you multi screen shots so you can see whats going on if you wish? or even upload a short video to show you if you like?? IF i knew where to upload them??
