Public posts not clickable by non-admin users in Dashboard nor visible via App
-
I have just installed WordPress and it seems to be running nicely with one exception.
Only users with the Administrator role are able to view posts made by users other than themselves. If a user with ‘Author’ role creates a posts, and sets it to Published and Public then another ‘Author’ user will see the post listed in their Dashboard but the posts are not clickable. They have to explicitly go to the ‘All posts’ area in order to select ‘View. But if an Administrator user logs in then the posts are clickable directly from the dashboard. Is this expected? Also, if an ‘Author’ connects to the site using the WordPress iPhone/iPad app, they can only see their own posts whereas an ‘Administrator’ user can see all posits. This definitely seems to be not correct.
Any idea as to what might be the issue here? Any guidance on how to debug this issue?
Thanks.
