• Hi Michael,

In your Shortcode Reference for [tplist] you indicate that for the ‘image_link’ parameter I can set a link target for the images:

none (default): No link will be set.
self: The link refers to the the image source
post: The link refers to the related page if this is set for the publication

But I really miss a value that could be named “external” that is capable of connecting ONLY the image to an external URL (for example a YouTube video) when clicking on it.

I thought that a good site to include this ‘External URL’ option would be under the ‘Image URL’ text box found in the ‘Image & Related content’ section.

If there’s currently no way to achieve this through any custom function (please ;)) I hope you consider my suggestion and include this option in the next update as it makes [tplist] a much more versatile set.

Wish you a happy New Year 2020!!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello Michael,

I have an urgent request for you: Would you please create a field called “Image Link” below the field “Image URL” into “Image & Related content” box in Publications, so I can insert a URL and the browser will lead me directly to the web page specified in “Image URL”?. It would be something like adding a new parameter [image_link=”url”].

Although I don’t have much money, we could talk about paying you for this job because I need it so badly.

    Thank you.

Please have a look to teachPress 7.1:
I’ve added to fields to publications: Image Link Target and External Image Link.
If you set the Image Link Target to “external” and an External Image Link, then it should work as you wish. ??
