Publicize – Auto-Publish Posts to Facebook/Twitter/etc

    I noticed that WordPress.com users have access to a feature called ‘Publicize’: https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

    The feature allows users to link their Facebook/Twitter/Yahoo accounts to their wordpress blog so that posts on WordPress automatically get posted (and publicized) on their social networking accounts.

    Does www.ads-software.com have an equivalent or something similar?
    At the moment, I use the plugin ‘Sociable’ but that requires manual publicizing.

  • I would also like to see the wordpress.com Publicize feature released as a .org plugin. It looks great! mdawaffe (Mike Adams of Automattic) posted on the MU forums months ago that he was thinking of cleaning up the code for release but I couldn’t find any mention of it after that. Anyone know the current status?

    So I too have been looking for a function that will publicize to various social media sites, although I was looking for something more for Twitter. I decided to use “WP to Twitter” which seems to work pretty well for me. It actually looks and functions very closely to the “Publicize” feature in WordPress.com. I came across some other plugins that seem to do similar things for other websites via a Google search for “best wordpress plugins.” Best of luck!
