Publicize-Facebook Post Won't Display Picture

  • When I use publicize to publish posts to our Facebook page, the posts show up only with the link, description, and the preview of the description. I know the settings are supposed to select the featured image as the preview image for the publicize Facebook post but I’m not sure how to get that to work. I use Jetpack to publicize my posts.

    The posts that I’m referring to are “Introducing Our New Change Hub Blog!” and “The Changemaker Version of Mardi Gras.”

  • I was having the same issue and read somewhere recently that the featured image needs to be at least 1500px x 1500 px to post. That seems really large to me!

    I just sent a post to Facebook (via Publicize) with a photo (featured image) that was 480 x 640 and it worked just fine! However, a few days ago, I tried to send over a post with an image of 630 X 634 and that didn’t show up at all.

    I am very frustrated. We are trying to enable Jetpack on a multisite for our clients and it has been one step forward, two steps back all the way!
