Publicize not sending email when sharing by email

  • Hello, I’m running the Hueman theme with Jetpack installed. Under sharing, I have enabled sharing by the various social media outlets, and email. The icons show on each post.

    When I try to share by email, the window says the email is successfully sent to the email address I type in, however I am not receiving the email. Since I’m guessing that this is sort-of supposed to work code-magically, I’m not even sure how try to diagnose it. What SMTP server is used?

    Do I need to worry about ports? I’m running on AWS.
