A few weeks back, with one update or another to either JetPack or WordPress, Publicize stopped working on Twitter, FB, Google+, AND LinkedIn whenever I create a “scheduled post.”
If I create a normal “Publish Now” post, it works fine. It’s only scheduled posts that aren’t working…
Anyone else seeing this? It’s basically negated the entire purpose of JetPack for me.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you let me know what other plugins are currently active on your site, so I can try to reproduce the problem?

    Thanks!

I will, but I will say that none of the plugins have changed between when this worked and when it didn’t. The only thing that changed as WordPress updating, a few plugins updating, & JetPack updating.

    Plugins installed & active:
    Akismet
    AMR Shortcode Any Widget
    Do Follow
    Erident Custom Login & Dashboard
    Google Analytics by Yoast
    Google Author Link
    Hotfix
    Jetpack
    Livefyre Realtime Comments
    MailChimp for WordPress
    NoSpamNX
    Polls by OpinionStage
    Special Recent Posts Pro Edition
    W3 Total Cache
    WordPress SEO
    WP-DB Manager
    WP Widget Cache

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    Thanks!

None of these plugins should conflict with Jetpack. Could you go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on “Disconnect from WordPress.com”? Once you’ve done so you’ll be able to reconnect to WordPress.com by clicking on the connect button at the top of the page.

If you continue to experience issues after reconnecting, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?

    1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
    2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
    3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
    4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
    5) Click the “Contact Support” button.

    Thanks!

Disconnecting and reconnecting fixed it for 1 day. Now it’s back to regularly doing this. *sigh*
I’m doing the debugger thing now.

    Scratch that.
I clicked on debug and got:
    Error 502. Bad gateway.

Happened every time I clicked debug.
My site is up. My site is reachable. No idea what debug is doing to cause a bad gateway error…

    Suggestions?

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Could you check your server error logs to find out more about these 502 errors?

If you don’t know how to access your logs, your host should be able to help.

    Thanks!

If you look at my post, I said that my site was actually up. I verified that with several people across the US and several of the downornot sites.
Pretty sure the Error 502 was unrelated to my host, especially since I only get it when I click on the debug link for JetPack.
I shot my webhost an email and will get back to you.

The debugger is also hosted on your site, so the 502 error should appear in your logs. Since the error only appears on that debug page, it’s definitely related to Jetpack, and the error details will tell us more.

Let me know how it goes!

Debug came back “Jetpack is working A-Okay!” so I’m filling out the info on the contact Jetpack support now.
