Publicize now available?

  • I have Jetpack installed and when I was looking at my blog subscriptions count in my Site Stats it now says:

    Followers (includes Publicize)
    64 Blog
    0 Single Posts

    The word Publicize is a link to https://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/

    I wasn’t able to find any of the features the video talks about Publicize on the my blog’s Sharing page. So is Publicize now available for self hosted wordpress blogs or not?

  • My apologies for the confusion. Publicize is currently only available to WordPress.com users. There was an update to the code that handles the display of this screen which mistakenly caused this link to Publicize to appear for Jetpack users.

    No worries.

    Is WordPress going to release a ‘publicize” plugin/widget for www.ads-software.com users anytime soon. This is a fantastic app and it seems a shame that it can’t be used by both population segments in the WordPress family.

    Agreed.. I used that publicize function quite a bit on the .com side. Disappointed to make the switch and it not be available…
