Publicize on Facebook: Featured image random issue

    Hi,

    I use Publicize (Jetpack) to publicize (obviously) our posts to Facebook and Twitter.
    There is no issue with Twitter.
    But with facebook, it publicize the featured image… randomly… when it wants…
    You can see on our facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/golfloire/
    I posted 3 articles today (https://golfloire.com): 1 of them is ok with title, featured images, excerpt, begining of the article, link to the post, etc… and the 2 others have missing title, excerpt and featured image…
    It’s totaly random… sometimes yes, sometimes no…
    Why and how to solve this consistency issue?

  • I just did another test a few minutes ago, so you should see it in the logs again. You can also disconnect and reconnect Jetpack to recreate the problem.

    They should be able to search for our IP addresses in the logs to locate those errors.

    Our host forced the wordpress IP address in their white list (again) and would like to know if you can do another test.

    I’m still seeing that same error in the connection. Could they try to remove any blocks or limits on your site’s xmlrpc.php file just so that we can get Jetpack connected?

    Once we have a good connection, they can try to work backward to see if they can reactivate the protection without blocking us.

    Let me know what they say!
