I just started using the Publicize feature a few days ago. I like to schedule all of my content for the week on Sunday and have 1-2 posts drop each day, so I was interested in also scheduling the posting to FB & Twitter. But it was not working with scheduled posts. It did work when creating a post from scratch and immediately publishing it. Okay, I thought, I’ll create all my content for the week, save them as drafts, and then publish them on the appropriate day. But this morning that did not work either.

So to recap: if I start a new post and immediately hit publish, Jetpack dutifully posts to social media as expected. But if I either schedule a post or simply save a post as a draft and then publish it later, it does not get shared when it publishes.

What should I look for to determine what’s going wrong?

Thanks for the reply, Michelle! My site is https://www.wincitynews.org

However, it may be working now. I disabled Yoast SEO which I don’t really use anyway. Since doing that, I was able to save a post as a draft and then publish it and have it get shared on FB. The only difference is that in prior attempts I did not publish right away; it was the next day or a couple of days later. I don’t know if that makes a difference. I’m going to create a few more drafts tonight and publish a couple in the morning. If it works, I’m happy. I’m using the free version of Jetpack now, but if I can get this to work I plan to upgrade and take advantage of the backups, scheduled sharing, and other optional services.

    Hi.

    I have the same issue.
I already reconnected and deleted according to JetPack troubleshooting guide.

I have 2 sites that currently have this issue.
    I use elementor.

When publishing with the block editor, it posts fine on facebook, but using elementor it does not.
Something happened may 3 when updating JetPack to v.10.9

Don’t know if the issue is with is Jetpack or elementor, but the error was introduced exactly when Jetpack updated to 10.9

    Hi @netspacer

Thanks for going through those troubleshooting steps and explaining further your use case.

Our developers are already looking into this issue as some other users had experienced it, and there should be a fix for it hopefully soon, as we don’t have a specific ETA. You can follow the progress of that below:

I have confirmed that disabling Yoast SEO has solved my problem. In my case, it’s not a problem since I wasn’t really using any of its features, except customizing the appearance of my social shares, but Jetpack is doing fine with that. Hoping this info might be helpful in determining the cause.
