Publicize sending out https: URL instead of http:

    When a new post is published, Publicize is sending out an https: URL (which fails) to Twitter and Facebook instead of an http: URL. The rest of the URL is otherwise correct.

    Strangely, Publicize sends out the correct http: URL to Google+ and Tumblr.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

    It appears that your site was previously set to use HTTPS as its site address and WordPress address. It now uses HTTP, but your Jetpack settings were not updated to reflect the change. I made the change manually, and things should work well with your next posts.

    If this happens again, I’d recommend going to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, click on the Disconnect link at the bottom of the page, and then reconnect to WordPress.com to force an update of your Jetpack settings.

    Thanks very much.

    I wasn’t successfully able to complete the transition to https: for the site (unrelated issue), but I thought I’d backed out all the changes.

    The fact that only the Twitter & Facebook URLs were https: was driving me crazy!
