Publicize: share attachment is not connected to link

    I’ve noticed for about a week when my links go to share on social media – Facebook in particular – the image is not attaching to the link. It is just showing up as a link on FB. I’ve checked all my publicize settings, tried linking the image to the post. I recently renewed my SSL and thought maybe that had something to do with it Bluehost was clueless. I’m not sure if this is related to a new plugin I installed WPTasty – I’ve contacted them and they say their app doesn’t affect an image connecting to a shared link. Not sure where to go next with my troubleshooting – any ideas? Anyone?

    There was a similar issue which I was facing on my website a while ago. My Publicize plugin was not showing images on facebook, twitter, and LinkedIn.

    what you can do to resolve this issue is.

    1. Its simple, just re-install your publicize plugin.
    2. you can re-connect facebook with publicize.
    3. Else, you can clear your publicize data from backend and clear all the cache files from there.
    4. Also, try to delete WPTasty plugin if it is similar to publicize.

    Hosting is not involved in creating such kind of errors on social media, You might be facing this issue due to the bad social integration or due to a similar plugin.

    I re-installed publicize, re-connected FB, and cleared the cache. Didn’t help. I disabled the WPTasty plugin and tried from there – still didn’t help. I’m checking with shareaholic – a new social integration tool I downloaded recently.

    Figured it out. Since my SSL had expired FB had changed my URL I had to go to the FB developer site and recertify my SSL.
