Publish a Post but Not to RSS or E-mail readers

Hi,

This may be a tricky question but here goes. I want to publish a post but not have it go out to RSS or e-mail readers, i.e. people who have signed up to receive my blog updates.

Here is why – I want to put a couple of category archives in my navigation bar as tabs and want these posts displayed publicly but not go out in readers or e-mail. Make sense?

So I want the “post” to be published and viewable on the website but not go out to RSS readers and e-mail. I don’t want to publish a page because I like the archiving feature, meaning the list of other posts undernealth the newest one. I have a seperate blog, which is where I want to publish to readers and e-mail

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
