Publish and Preview controls have disappeared — HELP!

Hi, all,

From my days in tech support, I know that I’ve probably changed something inadvertently, but I absolutely SWEAR on my mother’s grave that I changed NOT ONE THING about my installation — and suddenly, without warning or hint of how to recover them, the “Publish” and “Preview” buttons that I’ve always used to preview, edit, and publish posts on my web page are gone. Missing. Poof. Nowhere to be found.

I cannot publish posts anymore. Until this is resolved, my blog is DEAD.

A) What the hell did I do?

B) How the hell do I get them back?
