Publish on GitHub for pull requests
-
I installed your plugin a few minutes ago. I have many suggested changes.
* A cookie with the user’s email address should be saved in their browser so it is pre-filled across pages. (as it works for logged in users)
* That email address should be available to WooCommerce and other plugins (e.g. abandoned cart plugins).
* If the user has arrive from a Newsletter email (wp.org/plugins/newsletter), its tracking should be used to fill the email field
* When subscribing, “Thank you for your interest in PRODUCT NAME, you will receive an email alert when it becomes available.”, this should include the email address (since it has been removed from the screen).
* The email “Your Subscribed product on SITE NAME is available now” – email subject should be changed to include the product name (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/add-name-of-product-to-emails/)
* Do emails send when stock is updated using quick edit?
* “Number of Interested Person(s) 1” in admin UI needs no formatting.
* “Number of Interested Person(s) 1” in admin UI’s absence when an item is in stock could be better UI’d.
* Should add to Newsletter (wp.org/plugins/newsletter) list for this product. And I’m sure I’ll have many more.
It would be great if you published the plugin on GitHub so I could send changes there for inclusion/consideration.
