I planned a few posts to future. I see them on calendar planned to future (good). After activation of your plugin posts are published “now:2017-07-20”. (wrong) Now I see posts which to be published e.g. in next two days. They have date of publication still set to 22.07.2017.

I do not understand how is it possible, but I am sure it did not happend before I installed PublishPress.

Idea of PublishPress is really great. I like it. It would be nice if it the issue will be fixed. thx.

    Hi suenee,

Thank you indeed for getting in touch.

This looks like a very odd issue. I tried to reproduce the issue but wasn’t able yet. Sorry if I didn’t get very well the scenario you are describing.

Please, could you detail it a little bit more answering the following questions?

    1. “I planned a few posts to future. I see them on calendar planned to future (good).” – You meant the PublishPress calendar, right? So it displays ok on the calendar, in the correct date?

    2. “After activation of your plugin posts are published “now:2017-07-20”. (wrong)” – Where do you see that value? In the database? In the post edit form? In the calendar’s popup when you click on the post?

    3. “Now I see posts which to be published e.g. in next two days. They have date of publication still set to 22.07.2017.” – It looks ok for me unless you are talking about the date separator “.”, instead of “-“. Today is July 20, so the next 2 days is July 22. Please, could you describe it again?

    Looking forward to helping,

    Anderson

    Hi Anderson,

I just run your plugin on my testing platform. I will try to find exact “bug scenario” for you.

    Feedback from suenee:

    “Scenario:
    1. goto PP calendar in admin
    2. Click on a date in the future (eg. 28.07.2017) from now (23.07.2017).
    3. Fill a title and click on “EDIT”
    4. Check the shleduled time. You should see 28.07.2017 00:00:00
    5. You can write content of post, save it and publish it.
    CORRECT, it works.

And now we will do it again:
    1. goto PP calendar in admin
    2. Click on a date in the future (eg. 28.07.2017) from now (23.07.2017).
    3. Fill a title and click on “EDIT”
    4. DO NOT CHECK the shleduled time. Just believe that it set correctly.
    5. You can write content of post, save it and publish it.
WRONG! Post is published NOW (23.07.2017 in actual time)

It seems to me that shleduled time is ignored by WP. I guess you have to active the schedule form in editor. Then it will work well.”

I made mistake in first test:

    1. goto PP calendar in admin
    2. Click on a date in the future (eg. 28.07.2017) from now (23.07.2017).
    3. Fill a title and click on “EDIT”
    4. Check the shleduled time. You should see 28.07.2017 00:00:00
    5. You can write content of post, save it and publish it.

THIS DOES NOT WORK. I get sheduled time to NOW. The date in form (28.07.2017) is replaced with (23.07.2017=NOW).

So both tests went wrong way….

@suenee Do not post email addresses here in these forums, even obfuscated ones.

@andergmartins Are you related to the plugin author in anyway? Serious question for you and @pressshack

    Hi @jdembowski

Sorry for that. @andergmartins is the lead developer for this plugin.

Perhaps in the future we’ll point people to the contact form on our site. Would that be better?

GOOD TO KNOW! Can you do me and the other moderators a favor? Can you add his account as at least a plugin contributor for this plugin? It will add a magic orange tag on his posts in this sub-forum.

It will also let moderators know it’s fine for him to post links to arbitrary downloads. ??
