• Hi,

We are trying to follow the steps here – https://support.wpmobile.app/article/86-how-to-publish-to-google-play?lang=en

But I think the instructions are already outdated.

I think step #4 is invalid since we can’t find an “App release?on right and click?Manage production

Do you have an updated instructions?

Then we continued regardless, but we are still stuck at Step #7 where it says to select an APK file, but the actual Google Dev page is only asking for an AAB file. So we selected the AAB file regardless, but got the below error:

Your APK or Android App Bundle is using permissions that require a privacy policy: (android.permission.CAMERA).
Learn More Version code xxxxxxxxxx has already been used. Try another version code.

    Any ideas on this please?

  • Have you published a privacy policy for your app?
If not you won’t be able to upload it until that has been done.
It doesn’t matter if it’s an APK or AAB file.

It’s also saying you’ve used the version code – add a .1 to it if it’s a small change, or a full 1 if it’s a major update.

If you change the version and try again it should just give you the privacy error. Put the policy together and you’ll be back on track.
