    Hi,

I’ve created an app under my own personal twitter account and successfully linked it to the plugin and it auto-publishes however it goes to my own twitter profile and not my business one that I enter in the “Twitter Username” section of the plugin settings. Is this correct, can I only publish to the account linked to the app?

    Thanks,

    James

  • Yes,you can only publish to the account linked to your App.
To make a request on behalf of another user, you need to generate a new set of user access tokens that are specifically meant to be used by your Twitter app. To generate these access tokens, the 3-legged OAuth flow is required and have the user authenticate or authorize your Twitter app.
But Social Media Auto Publish do not support this.
You should create a new app for your business handle or transfer ownership of your Twitter app to business account by selecting ‘I need to transfer an API key to another account’ when filling out this form
    Hope this helps.
